The Fury Of The Aquabats!
Back in the 90s when ska reigned supreme, superhero rockers The Aquabats released this incredible album upon the unsuspecting public. Each song is just an quirky and energetic as the last, and you really can't help but smile as you listen. Fun fact: this is the only Aquabats recording to feature Baron von Tito (a.k.a. Travis Barker) on drums. |

Elfen Lied OST
Possibly my favorite dramatic series, a beautiful and extraordinarily sad story accompanied by a wonderful artistic style, Elfen Lied is a cinermatic masterpiece. Nothing evokes more emotion than the score, which creates part of the story itself simply around the main theme, Lilium. A near impossible find, but worth every bit of time and money to find it. |

Reign The Helm
My band, The Dread Crew of Oddwood's debut album is now online! We've been working extremely hard recording and mixing this CD over the last few months and I'm very happy with the final product. Featuring not only several original songs, but covers ranging from Zelda to traditional Irish music as well, this is a must have for pirate fans. |

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time OST
Widely considered by many to be the greatest video game of all time, this timeless Koji Kondo soundtrack still makes an impact on the industry over a decade after its release. Ocarina of Time is full of themes which have become crucial to the Zelda series, and this staggering 82 track CD presents the listener with one excellent piece after another. |

Guilty Gear XX OST
Daisuke Ishiwatari and Koh-ichi Seiyama's soundtracks to the Guilty Gear games, much like the games themselves, have always stood out in their genre. Dabbling in a multitude of rock sub-categories, this two-disc score to the third installment (and in my opinion best thus far) in the series plays much more like a band album than a soundtrack. Metal. |

Flight of the Conchords
"Formerly New Zealand's fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo," Flight of the Conchords released their debut full-length studio album of the same name in spring of 2008. All tracks included were featured in the first season of their hilarious HBO series. If you haven't seen it yet, you need to reevaluate your life. |

Rain Dogs
Alongside Sworfishtrombones, Rain Dogs was a pivotal release in Tom Waits' career, marking his transition from inebriated lounge-piano to wonderfully inventive and at times nothing short of insane experimental music. I grew up listening this album, and after all this time it's still one of my favorites. May be an acquired taste for some listeners. |

Final Fantasy IX OST
When the ninth installment of the Final Fantasy series was released in 2000, it didn't get a very warm reception at all. Despite the criticism, fans of the classic titles recognized the game for exactly what it was, an absolute masterpiece, accompanied by a massive and beautifully thematic score written entirely by the one and only Nobuo Uematsu. |

Cowboy Bebop CD-Box OST: Limited Edition
Cowboy Bebop is among the greatest television series ever created, in part because of its unique and captivating soundtrack; and although there have been 10 separate album releases to encompass the original score, this four disc set is the best collection available. Yoko Kanno is a mastermind, and her band The Seatbelts perform each track exquisitely. |

Danse Macabre
Nebraska new wave band The Faint has been active for about a decade now, with a new album, Fasciinatiion, scheduled for release some time this year. Danse Macabre hit stores in 2001, featuring nine tracks of bustling electronica with a slight metal edge, courtesy of their new guitarist, Dapose. This is a great CD by a great group. Buy it. |

Chrono Cross OST
My favorite video game of all time is Chrono Trigger, so when the sequel came out I had a lot of expectations that unfortunately weren't met. I lost interest in the game but the score met and greatly exceeded all of my already high hopes. This soundtrack is one of Yasunori Mitsuda's greatest accomplishments; three discs of pure musical genius. |

Hellsing OST: RAID
RAID is the first of two original soundtracks written by Yasushi Ishii for the anime series Hellsing (the second called RUINS). This stylistic score masterfully exemplifies the audacious macabre that made the show so infectious, fusing several genres including jazz, acid, blues, and grunge with dark choral music and haunting classical instrumentals. |

Farewell: Live from the Universal Amphitheatre
It's difficult to sum up the many years of incredible music to come from Oingo Boingo, but this live recording of the band's final concert on Halloween 1995 does so almost flawlessly. The track selection is superb, including all of the classics, as well as some of their more obscure and underrated songs. This performance is also available on DVD. |

Ōkami OST
This gargantuan five disc set is a must have for anyone's collection. All of the tracks are inspired by traditional Japanese music, and perfectly sets the mood for what was possibly the best, and certainly the most innovative, game of 2006. If you're looking to get into East Asian music, this soundtrack is the perfect place to start. |

Edward Scissorhands OST
Danny Elfman has been composing amazing film scores for decades, but through all the years this soundtrack has remained, in my opinion, one of his all-time greatest musical achievements. Every piece is as sentimental and peculiar as it is memorable, and wonderfully evokes that beautiful sadness that made the film so charming. |

Rodrigo y Gabriela
If you're looking for something unique, well-written, and highly addictive, be sure to pick up this this incredible album. Combining all the greatest aspects of metal, jazz, and Latin acoustic music, this talented duo creates an amazing listening experience you won't believe is performed entirely on two guitars. Order it if you can, it's worth every cent. |

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles OST
Whether you've played the game or not, this two disc soundtrack is a must have. Kumi Tanioka creates a remarkable and unique score with fantastic melodies, composed almost entirely in medieval and early renaissance styles on ancient instruments that have since faded out of mainstream music. If you can find it, I highly recommend picking it up. |
